This is the traditional German wedding cup. Made out of love and desperation by a goldsmith that loved the Noble mistress Kunigunde. Her father did not approve of the relationship so he had the goldsmith imprisoned but it did not end his daughter's love for the goldsmith. The father seeing his daughter become more and more sick from being separated from her true love challenged the gold smith to make a chalice from which both his daughter and the goldsmith could drink from without spilling a drop. If he could do this then he would free him and Kunigunde could be his bride. Well he succeeded and the bridal cup remains a symbol of Good luck, Love and faithfulness. 97% pure Pewter with polished bands for engraving. Continue the tradition day!
